I hate to make excuses for not keeping up the site, but I'll go ahead and blame it on school, cross country and talking to people instead of staying at home writing for myself. Whenever I'm excited about stuff I just want to get all the energy out of me, no matter how it comes out. I used to get that excitement out by writing about the stuff here on the site. Back in the day, I loved writing about stuff on the site and seeing some other people having a great time reading what I've written. These days, it's harder to make that time in my life and sit down and write for the site. Now, I tend to get all those jollies from talking to people instead of writing for the site. I like it that way. I don't like writing for the site anymore. I will not write for the site anymore. But before I call this quites, check out this crazy worksheet that I tried to do in Sociology once when I was falling asleep. There are a ton of mis-spelled words, incoherent phrases and stray marks all over the place! I hope you get a last laugh out of it.
I'm always up for a chat on AIM, MSN or myspace. Hit me up. It's been fun. Thanks.|W|P|113082130108539595|W|P|Halloween Special|W|P|stevegeluso@gmail.com10/27/2005 08:46:00 PM|W|P|Steve Geluso|W|P|I just made myself a delicious banana shake! I mean, it's really good. It was totally awesome. I liked Death Cab before, but after seeing their show I totally love them. It's as if each and every one of their songs that I listen to now takes me back to the show and just blows me away. I can't even describe it. After taking care of homecoming business, I stopped by Hastings and finally picked up their album Transatlanticism. Now I love Death Cab even more than I did right after seeing the show. When I say "love," I actually mean "love." That's the cool thing about it. There are no words to describe how incredibly awesome Death Cab is to me right now. Looking for all the music involving Ben Gibbard, the lead singer/song-writer, I stumbled across a site with a small 20 question interview with him. When asked what one thing he would save if his house were on fire, Ben Gibbard said "my house." I laughed a lot at that. I laughed so much that it inspired me to write about it here and share it with everyone. As much as I admire Ben Gibbard for his wit, I respect Chris Walla for his amazing mixing, recording and overall production of the album. It would be so cool just to hang out with him for a day and talk sound stuff. Being an indie guy and all he probably has a ton of great insights on the music world. I want to own my own studio some day. Until then, I want to move to Seattle and have fun working in the music scene there.|W|P|112917660615338147|W|P|Ben Gibbard|W|P|stevegeluso@gmail.com
